Marco Adda

Independent Researcher / Consultant / Theatre Director and Actor Trainer / Educator / Tutor / Program Creator / Digital Teacher / Author / Wellness Coach / Animal Advocate

  • Relevant interest in Drama, Animal Behaviour, Human Development, Enterprise Training, Integrative Wellness and Community Health, Mindfulness, Bodymind Practices, Environmental Awareness.

Summary

I have been broadly involved in projects of Drama, Education, Anthrozoology, Innovative Entrepreneurship, Wellness and Human Development. Since 2009 I have been living and working around Europe, South East Asia, Oceania and America. Further reflective of an international presence, I have been collaborating with universities, organisations, schools and wellness centres in Rome, Paris, Novisad, Budapest, Iasi, London, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Koh Phangan, Bali, San Francisco, Hobart, Cluj-Napoca and others. Due to a broad spectrum of interests, I am actively engaged in a wide range of educational and professional contexts.

Background

I studied education since my High School Degree in Pedagogy and School Teaching. I focused on training and education in some of my academic studies, and I integrated formal education with the powerful tools of Theatre Pedagogy, Project-Based Learning, Outdoor Training, Experiential Learning and Digital Learning.

Co-Director and Project Manager at Furio Camillo Theatre in Rome (2000-2009) as Chief of the Department of Drama, Training, Education and Community Building, I directed training programs for profesional actors, projects of drama and education in nearly all school grades - from infancy to Master Degree students. I have relevant participation in social theatre as a tool of integration for people with social and clinical difficulties.

I have been studying White Crane Silat, Qigong, Yoga, Traditional Singing, Guided imagery, Meditation and Mindfulness practices, and Situational Awareness, with a strong focus on human development and healing. In 2014, I founded Integral Neurosoma, a comprehensive approach to somatic experiences targeting individuals' and groups' training and wellbeing. That includes neuroscience, clinical psychophysiology, integrative medicine and nutrition.

Animal behaviour and anthrozoology represent an important part of my research and action. Further, I explore the interconnection between animal behaviour and actor training, movement techniques, martial arts and bodymind practices, and I integrate elements of anthrozoology in my coaching and wellness activities.
